General CHRIS assistance
The helpdesk is designed to deal with queries or problems on the CHRIS system. Queries about HR policies and non-system issues should be raised with the relevant HR Business Manager or HR Advisor, the Recruitment Administration Team Leader or Payroll contact.
Information on Navigating around system is available on the CHRIS website at Training. If the information you require cannot be found on the CHRIS website you can contact the helpdesk by phone (ext. 60999) or email (chrishelpdesk@admin.cam.ac.uk.)
What to expect when raising a call
We aim to respond to calls within 1 day (High Priority), 5 days (Medium Priority) or 2 weeks (Low Priority). If we cannot resolve your call straight away we will log it and send you a Helpdesk reference number via email. If the Helpdesk Advisor cannot resolve your call it will be transferred to a member of the CHRIS support team who will be following the query through to resolution.
You can check the progress of a call at any time by requesting a Status check. When you call for a status check, please always quote the Helpdesk reference number.
