Key Contacts provide an essential link between the CHRIS Operations Group and the Department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving bulletins, via email, from the CHRIS Operations Group, and passing on these communications to the relevant staff in the Department
  • Ensuring that prospective CHRIS users attend training courses provided by the CHRIS Training team
  • Authorising new requests for CHRIS user registration and respond to the 6 monthly audit of CHRIS users. Key Contacts are responsible for authorising the type of user access for CHRIS
  • Nominating additional contacts to the Key Contact email group to provide cover when the Key Contact is absent due to holiday, illness, etc.
  • Informing the CHRIS Helpdesk when a CHRIS user changes roles or moves to another job. Any changes to nominations should be notified to the CHRIS Helpdesk.
